By sharing your garden, you'll be helping us raise funds for the Westchester Food Pantry.

Grassroots Garden Group relies on volunteer support for several events each year. By volunteering with GGG, you will be supporting events and activities that serve the community. From fundraising events for the Westchester Food Pantry to workshops and social activities, we seek to bring Westchester closer together through gardening.

Events with dates listed as TBD (to be determined) are not yet available for volunteer sign-up.

PLANTING PARTY

Every spring we sow hundreds of flower, herb, fruit, and vegetable seeds for our annual plant sale benefiting the Westchester Food Pantry.

Grassroots Garden Group holds an annual plant sale benefiting the Westchester Food Pantry every May. To date, this event has raised over $19,000 for the pantry!

Help us show off our village! Our annual Westchester Garden Walk has quickly become a hit, raising over $38,000 for the Westchester Food Pantry to date.

ADOPT A PARK

Grassroots Garden Group has adopted Highridge Park throught the Westchester Park District! We pick up litter once a month to keep the park looking spiffy for all of the people that spend time there.

Before winter sets in, Grassroots Garden Group helps to tidy up community areas and plant fall bulbs for cheery spring color.
