Seed Planting Party

We forecast a fun and rewarding evening with the promise of spring and the smell of soil. Break out your gardening gloves, roll up your sleeves, and help us sow seeds for our 3rd annual plant sale benefiting the Westchester Food Pantry! We are looking for volunteers to help with our planting assembly line. We'll be sowing vegetable, herb, and flower seeds. If you have been anxious to get your hands in the dirt, this is the activity for you!

We may also need a few volunteers to babysit some of our seedlings in their homes until the date of the plant sale. To ensure that our seedlings arrive at the plant sale big and beautiful, we ask that volunteers store them in a sunny place in their homes.

This is the small schoolhouse located behind the UPS store in Plaza Marina and across the street from the Walgreen's at the corner of Cermak and Wolf. The parking lot for the schoolhouse is loated on the east side of the schoolhouse, right off of Cermak. Parking is limited, so you may need to park behind Plaza Marina.
